Mia Kugelmann´s textile design "Brot und Salz" is inspired by wheat and salt fields from a bird's-eye view. I visualised her design in three different sequences emphasizing on the design itself, the fabric and context.
the first sequence juxtaposes her textiles with screenshots of google earth to focus on the shapes only.
to emphasize not only on the fabric silk but to take up the matter of landscapes again we created three-dimensional sceneries of flour and salt including the textiles.
the last sequence expands on the title and the context of Mia Kugelmann´s design.
the setting is a breakfast table including only the key elements:
Bread and Salt.
